FHSU Choirs to host Cathedral Concert

HAYS, Kan. – The Department of Music and Theatre at Fort Hays State University will host its 32nd Annual Cathedral Concert at 3:30 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 3, at St. Fidelis Church in Victoria.

The concert will feature the Fort Hays Singers, Fort Hays Concert Choir, Smoky Hill Chorale, Hays High School Chamber Singers and the Hays High Plains Barbershop Chorus.

FHSU’s brass choir, brass quartet, string quartet, flute ensemble and double reed consort will also perform.

Dr. Ivalah Allen, associate professor of music and theatre, and Brad Dawson, assistant professor of music and theatre, will also be featured, along with organist Tom Meagher.

The concert is free and open to the public.
